Barking Methodist Church reopened in October 2013 as a major redevelopment that saw the front and rear of the Church building extended.
The Church area itself was built in 1958 and opened on the 10th January 1959. The years have seen many changes not only to the building but also in the congregation. We are now a very diverse congregation with many different nationalities and different age groups.
Everyone is always made welcome and we hope to you in our midst sometime soon.
In our Church as in all others, there is expressed the need of man and woman to look beyond themselves to something far greater, the God of Love and Beauty as revealed in Jesus Christ.
